Mrs. Katie Mae Smith's Obituary
Katie Mae (Chadwell) Smith, age 99, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. Katie was born to James and Ada Chadwell in Nashville on August 23, 1919.
Katie is preceded in death by her parents; husband William T. Smith, Sr., and her brother J.C. Chadwell. She is survived by her son William T. (Janice) Smith, Jr., 4 granddaughters; Kerry (Jack) Norman, Andrea Thompson, Jennifer (Robert) Parish, and Dana (Steve) Collins. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren McClain (Brandon) Lamb, Jackson (Whitnie) Norman, Jennie Norman, Dylan Norman, Keaton (Shelby) Largent, Logan Thompson, Bryan Thompson, Mac Parish, Will Parish, Madeline Parish, Graham Collins, Hallie Collins, Hayden Collins, and Riley Kate Collins. In addition, she is survived by 5 great-greatgrandchildren Jack Norman, Ari Largent, Jett Norman, Violet Thompson, and Josie Norman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 11am-2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will begin at 2pm in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
