My friend from way back to at Belmont University. We’ve been close since then. You were in of my truest friends from Belmont and from Nashville. I miss you more than anyone knows. Really hurts to know you’re gone and I won’t see you accomplish more dreams. You know what though…we’ve had a good, successful life up until now. I am deeply saddened to hear of Kenneth's passing. He was exceptionally kind, humorous, and highly supportive of the economics department's graduate students during his time at Vanderbilt. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I knew Kenneth when he worked in the economics department at Vandy. He always had a smile on his face and was so kind. He often shared pictures and stories about his wife and kids. I know Kenneth was an accomplished athlete. He used to ask me about the sports that my sons were playing and would give me parental advice. I am so sorry for your loss. I will be praying for your family.

Sending so much love to the Brown Family along with my deepest condolences. I cannot even imagine the world without gentle giants like Kenneth. He always went out of his way to make everyone feel important and included. He made his coworkers family, and we appreciated his kindness and check-ins.
I have great memories of laughter, eating and trying samples of catered dishes before they were presented at his numerous events, seeing pics of real estate as he was starting a new business, meeting his beautiful wife, mother and sister and watching them all prepare for the babies, and watching him hustle and succeed as a strong and proud Black man, husband and father. These are the fond memories that will always stay with this Nashville transplant.
To the Brown Family, may God wrap you in his loving arms and give you peace and strength during this time, and may you find comfort in your memories of Kenneth. I am praying for you all.
