Kenneth Edgar Daly's Obituary
Kenneth Edgar Daly, Sr., age 71 of Nashville, TN passed away February 2, 2012. Mr. Daly was born in Toledo, OH on May 19, 1940 to Kenneth Henry and Lillian Donalds Daly. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 3rd Degree Knight, he served with a Christian spirit volunteering with the Salvation Army and delivering donuts to battered women. He was beloved by his family, especially his great-grandchildren whom he chauffeured to school when able. He worked as a truck driver and retired from Yellow Freight. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth, Jr. and grandson, Christopher Reeder. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Catherine Daly; his daughter, Pam Daly; sons, Tim, Jim and Dennis Daly; daughters-in-law, Rhonda and Donna; sisters, Alice Young and Anna, Lee and Loretta Daly; grandchildren, Amber, Stephanie, Tiffany and Kristen and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass and celebration of Mr. Daly’s life will be conducted at 11 A.M., Monday, February 6, 2012 from the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tomy Joseph, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. on Saturday and from 12-6 P.M. on Sunday at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A rosary service will be conducted at 2 P.M. on Sunday. Memorial contributions should be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund.
