Mr. Kenneth Haas' Obituary
Kenneth Felton Haas, Sr., age 84, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Kenneth was born on November 29, 1932 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Wesley Felton and Ruby Louise (Baker) Haas.
Kenneth was an avid athlete, hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed being involved in all sports, specifically golf, football, playing softball with various teams and he enjoyed white water canoeing. Mr. Haas had a love for and was loved by everyone. He was strong in his Christian faith and was a member of the Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years, Mildred (Demonbreun) Haas; and his son, Kevin Haas.
Kenneth is survived by sons, Ken Haas, Jr. (Dee) and Keith Haas (Rose); sister, Linda Haas York; grandchildren, Kari Johnson (Tyler), Kimberly Haas along with their mother, Barbara Jean Ladd, Rebecca Haas, Joshua Haas, Zachary Haas, Amy French (Samuel), and Rachel Haas; daughter-in-law, Susan Haas; special friends, The Threet Family, The Ernie Hill Family, and the John Collins Family. Mr. Haas is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2pm at the Hendersonville First Baptist Church, 106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd. Hendersonville, TN 37075. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 2-6pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation on Sunday from 1-2pm at the church. Inurnment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hendersonville First Baptist Church, 106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd. Hendersonville, TN 37075.
