Mr. Kenneth Clay Leonard's Obituary
Kenneth Leonard, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015.
Kenneth was the founder of Leonard Plating Company. He was a member of First Baptist Hendersonville, and was a proud member of The Gideons International.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sara Leonard; brother Orvil “Bud” Leonard; sisters Shirley Hall, Brenda Lawson and Faye Ford; sons Gary Leonard (Sonja), Keith “Bubba” Leonard (Shirelle); and daughter Lesa Grubbs (Eddie); grandchildren Kayce Leonard, Chelsea Leonard, Kenneth Grubbs and Colson Leonard.
He is preceded in death by his father Bethel Leonard; mother Beatrice Leonard; brothers Homer Leonard, James Leonard, Joe Leonard, Herman “Jr.” Leonard; and sister Opal Tolbert.
His Family will receive friends on Friday, February 27th from 4pm until 8pm and Saturday, February 28th from 11am until his Celebration of Life Service at 1pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Luther officiating. Active pallbearers will include Mitch Lewis, Robert Ford, Michael Harris, Steve Leonard, Travis Wright, Austin, Colson Leonard and Kenneth Grubbs.
Interment to follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International. Services entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery 5110 Gallatin Rd. Nashville. (615) 865-11041
