Mr. Kenneth Monroe Walden's Obituary
Kenneth (Kenny) Monroe Walden, 79, of Nashville, Tennessee, went to his eternal home on Thursday, January 25, 2024. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Frances Lucille and Vester Walden; brothers, Virgil Lee Walden and Vester Ray Walden Sr.
Kenny is survived by his loving sisters, Linda Gale Porter (Charles) and Cynthia Ann Guthoerl; nieces, Carla Wilson and Joni Chandler; nephews Lee Walden, Kenny Wayne Walden, Ray Walden Jr, Will Guthoerl, Cody Guthorel and many great nieces and nephews.
He served as a Metro Police Officer and co-owned an Auto Parts store with his brother and longtime friend. Kenny was adored by all who knew him. His love for the Lord Jesus, infectious smile, fun loving spirit, and servant’s heart were just a few of his memorable attributes.
We would like to thank the staff at Stone Ridge HealthCare for the generous, loving care he was provided as if he were family and Caris Hospice for their compassionate care.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11 o'clock in the morning until 12 o'clock in the afternoon. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 12 o'clock at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin road in Nashville. The committal service will immediately follow with military honors in honor of Kenny's time in the Navy.
