Kevin Michael Huseman's Obituary
Kevin Michael Huseman, age 70, of Greenbrier, TN passed away December 15, 2025. He was born May 7, 1955 in Decatur, IL to the late Kenneth and Thelma Huseman.
Along with his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his brother Roger Huseman and sister Cynthia Huseman.
Kevin is survived by loving wife of 13 years, Christie Huseman; children, Chris Huseman, Shannon Huseman, Krista Mangrum, and Devean Mangrum; grandchildren, Vincent Huseman, Victor Huseman; sisters, Deborah Brandt and Susan Aunspaugh; brother, John Huseman; sister-in-law, Emma Harris and brother-in-law, Greg Harris; four nieces, two of whom are Vanessa Squires and Alaina Knight; and two grandnephews, Dalton and Thomas Knight.
He proudly served in the United States Army from 1974 until his retirement in 1996, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class. Throughout his military career, he was recognized for his dedication and excellence, receiving honors including the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal. He attended Southern Illinois University and went on to work for Maintech, Incorporated as an IBM/Lenovo Subject Matter Expert, where he continued to apply his extensive knowledge and experience.
He was known for his welcoming nature and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met. Knowledgeable, helpful, and kind, he loved to talk and share meaningful conversations, always making people feel comfortable and valued. He loved pirates and proudly displayed pirate treasures in his office, reflecting his sense of fun and adventure. He was also an ambassador for Maker’s Mark whiskey, sharing that passion with others. Above all, he will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and for always having a good joke.
Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216 on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 4pm-7pm and Monday, December 22, 2025 from 12pm until time of service
