Khammany Keomany's Obituary
Our beloved son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Khammany Keomany, has sadly passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was born in Thailand on July 19, 1979, and raised in East Nashville by his parents, Khamla and Manivanh Keomany.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his grandmother, Sengchanh, parents, Khamla and Manivanh Keomany, sister, Manila, son, Ponkham, daughter, Kaliyah, and niece, Love Jones. Khammany, also known as “Onuey” or “Bald-dude” to his friends, was a man of few words, but his smile said a lot. He was kind-hearted, selfless, generous, and much more. He was just a great person all around, whose smile was genuine and heartfelt by those who love him.
At NADC, he excelled in his studies, graduating with top honors. He was a hardworking man who provided for his family. His motorcycles, the Spyder and Hayabusa held a special place in his heart.
Despite his gruff exterior, Khammany was a loyal family member and friend – a big teddy bear beneath the surface. His family extended beyond blood; his friends, the boys, were a close-knit band of brothers. He consistently showed up for those he cared about. He was a devoted son who supported and took care of his parents. He shared a special bond with his younger sister, her rock, a constant source of support, and protective brother. He was a great father to his son and daughter, whose love was unconditional and irreplaceable. He was a wonderful uncle to his only niece; they shared a special bond that no one else would understand. He saw her as one of his own, in which he was always there for her. He was a lovely friend who always put others before himself. He had a rare gift of seeing the good in others, of understanding their struggles and offering a helping hand without expecting anything in return.
As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us remember the lesson he imparted on us. May his spirit live on, in the memories we cherish and the lives that have been touched by his presence. May his soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and light that he so generously bestowed upon us all.
Friends and family will be visiting on April 27, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Noon with Funeral Service following in the chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Spring Hill Cemetery.
Spring Hill is honored to be entrusted with Mr. Keomany's arrangements.
