Travel was one of Larry's greatest passions. From deep-sea fishing on the coast to family trips to the Gulf Coast and the Smoky Mountains, adventure was a family tradition he cherished dearly.
He found joy in simple pleasures, like hosting family cookouts and engaging in friendly card games of poker, rook, canasta, and rummy. Ever curious about the world, he kept up with current events through news and politics.
A perfectionist in his work as a contractor, Larry's talent and skill were unmatched. He was not only hardworking but also generous, often using his expertise to assist family members with renovation projects.
Known for his kind heart, supportive nature, and unwavering loyalty, Larry was a pillar of strength for those around him. His easygoing demeanor and passion for life brought warmth and happiness to all who knew him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Gloria Beard, children, Johnathan Beard, James Beard, and Jacquelin (Sam) Wiliford, grandson, Drew Sprout, brothers, Robert Beard and Kenneth (Paula) Leibfritz, sister, Debra (Johnny) Cook.
