Mrs. Laura Jung Hubbard's Obituary
Laura Jung Hubbard entered this life on May 28, 1974 and was welcomed into Heaven on December 15, 2018. She is preceded in death by her unborn baby boy. She is survived by her loving parents, Ralph and Linda Jung, and brother, Jason (Gina) Jung (Evansville, Indiana.) She is also survived by her husband of 21 years, Ryan Hubbard and sons Adam Cole, Jason Luke, Adrian Samuel, and Jacob Brock. Laura was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana where she attended Francis Joseph Reitz High School. Upon graduating in 1992, she attended Indiana University (Bloomington). There she earned a degree in Elementary and Special Education in 1996. Laura married her high-school sweetheart, Ryan, on March 15, 1997. Laura taught school in Stanfield, Arizona where she and Ryan made their home immediately after they wed. From there, they spent eleven years in Memphis, Tennessee where she taught second grade at Highland Oaks Elementary. Laura and Ryan were faithful members of Bellevue Baptist Church. In 2009, they made their home in Hendersonville, Tennessee. They were active members of Long Hollow Baptist Church where they taught a kindergarten Sunday school class for seven years. She was an avid homeschooler of her four boys. Those who were blessed enough to call her friend know that her physical beauty was only surpassed by her love for Jesus, Ryan and her boys. She was a steadfast follower of Christ and pointed everyone she met to Him. Her love for Ryan was strong and inspiring; her love for her boys unending. She desired to be known as a lover and follower of Jesus, wife, mom, and faithful friend and encourager. “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:21 Laura will be deeply missed by a host of dearly loved friends and extended family. The comfort of visits is welcomed by the family on Wednesday, December 19 from noon until 4PM in the chapel at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN. A service to celebrate Laura’s life will follow. Pete Jung, Den Jung, Ron Jung, Jason Jung, Chad Jones, and Jason Strickland will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Long Hollow Baptist Church, 3031 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075 or Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Institute, 1100 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Suite 800, Nashville, TN 37203.
