Mrs. LaVerne Marie Potter's Obituary
LaVerne Marie Ferguson Potter, age 91 of Madison, TN passed away December 4, 2013. Mrs. Potter was born in Saint Louis, MO on December 20, 1921 to Wesley Irving and Marie Louisa Stoye Ferguson.
She enjoyed playing bridge, enjoyed crafting, cooking, ceramics but most of all, helping others.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 65 years, Seymour Lee Potter. She is survived by her daughters, Delma Burton and Cindy (Steve) Sloan; son, Michael (Karen) Potter; grandchildren, Tre (Wanda) Burton, Stephen (Lynna) Sloan, Casey Sloan, Carey (James) Buckley, Chris (Ann) Potter and Kinsey Potter; many great-grandchildren and loving relatives.
The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 8 PM, Friday, December 6 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
