Mr. Lawrence Robert Rafferty's Obituary
Mr. Lawrence Robert Rafferty, age 75 of Hendersonville passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was born on October 31, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Alfred and Margaret Rafferty. He graduated from Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn, MI. He proudly served in the US Army and was part of JFK's honor detail. He was a salesman for his entire career and was with the Tennessee Banker's Association for over 20 years. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lynne Rafferty Manetta. He is survived by his son, Patrick (Jodi) Rafferty; Laura (Phillip) Jones; grandchildren; Erica Fancher, Nick Fancher, Bryson Jones, Madeline Rafferty and Max Rafferty; brother Bill Rafferty.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Nashville National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216, 615-865-1101. www.springhillfh.com.
