Mr. Lawrence D. Warner's Obituary
Lawrence Devine Warner passed away on October 20, 2018 at the age of 88 at Creekside Center for Rehabilitation. He was born in Nashville, TN on August 18, 1930. He was an Army Veteran in the Korean War. He worked at Inmont Corp. and BASF Corp. and in his father’s grocery store when he was younger. He is preceded in death by his father Alex and mother Mary, 6 brothers, and 1 sister. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 65 years Shirley Warner; daughters Vicky (Rickey) Kelley, Deborah (James) Gober and one who is like a daughter Linda (Laverne) Upchurch. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren; Christopher (Katie) Warner, Jason (Melissa) Kelley, Melanie (Tim) Kohler, Rachel Gober, Jenny (Brandon) Pewitt, Kenneth (Courtney) Gober, Joseph (Tiffany) Kelley; several step-grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 2-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and from 10-11am prior to mass. Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Madison. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville.
