Mrs. Lela Francis Barnes' Obituary
Lela F. (Jones) Barnes, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Lela was born to William L. and Clara Viola (Harvey) Jones on November 25, 1930 in Summertown, Tennessee.
Lela was a long time member of Alta Loma (Faith) Baptist Church.
Lela is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles D. Barnes, sons Charles D. “Donald” Barnes, and Michael Anthony Barnes, and her grandson Gary Jackson. She is survived by her daughter Fran (Sam) Jackson, sons Nathan (Lisa) Barnes and William “Billy” (Evie) Barnes; grandchildren Missy (Sal) Lozano, Keith (Kendra) Jackson, Brandon (Krystal) Barnes, Lindsay Kent, Rhianna Barnes, Telisha Barnes, William Barnes, Matthew Barnes, A.J. Barnes, Casey Barnes, and Autumn Barnes. In addition, she is survived by her brother Aldon Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 10am-2pm. Services will be held in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home at 2pm. Burial will be held on Monday, December 24, 2018 at 10am at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
