Mrs. Lena Elizabeth "Libby" Denson Teal's Obituary
Lena Elizabeth “Libby” Denson Teal, age 69 of Madison passed away November 9, 2013. Libby was born on April 5, 1944 in Nashville, TN to the late Dillard and Cora DeWeese. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a 1962 Graduate of Maplewood High School and an avid Bingo player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Aldridge and brother, Charles DeWeese. She is survived by her children, Sondra Denson and Les Denson; grandchildren, Laura Conley, Mindy Delahoussaye and David Connolly; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Grace and Ava Conley and Carter Connolly; brothers, Richard, Ronnie, Larry and Jimmy Wayne DeWeese. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel at Madison Church of Christ with Larry DeWeese officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 10-11 A.M. at the Church. The family will have a private burial at Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
