Leslie Karen Cathey Carter, was born on January 19, 1950 and passed away on July 4, 2014. Leslie C. Carter, 64, is a proud Tennessean and American history enthusiast. She died on her chosen day to meet the Lord, July the 4th, 2014. Leslie loved her family and friends deeply. She is now reunited with many of them. Leslie was born on January 19, 1950 in Nashville to the late Elliott Martin and Mildred Dickey Cathey, Jr. She is survived by her children, Randy (Michele) Carter and Ashley Carter (Ryan) Rehorn; grandchildren, Grace & Aidan Carter and Langley & Holden Rehorn; and brother, Elliott Martin “Skipper” (Melinda) Cathey, III. A celebration of her life will be held graveside in Section P of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, July 9th at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Bill Davis officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, July 8th from 5-7 P.M. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Leslie’s name may be made to the American Heart Association. In lieu of flowers, please donate memorials to the American Heart Association.
