Mr. Lester Seay Burkhart Jr.'s Obituary
Lester Seay Burkhart, Jr. of Hendersonville, TN. Passed away on December 19, 2019 in Davidson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Seay Burkhart, Sr., Mildred Floree Steiner Burkhart; sisters, Edith Burkhart Hinderliter, and Etha Burkhart Atkins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Bibb Burkhart; daughter, Laura Burkhart Coons (Brian); son, Nathan Burkhart; brother, Paul (Janice) Burkhart, sister, Janice Burkhart Smith; grandchildren, Emma Claire Coons, Sarah Cate Coons, Noah Coons; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lester was a man of God and strong in his faith. He was a long-time member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Lester enjoyed spending his time serving any way he could in church activities. He was wise, kind and adored his family. Lester touched the lives of so many and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery at 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216 from 4-8 PM and Monday from 1-3 PM. Lester’s Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
