Celebrating the Life of Levi James Goodale
January 20th, 1994 – January 21st, 2026
Let us celebrate the beautiful life of Levi James Goodale born in Yuba City, California, and who left us in Nashville, TN, at age 32, he died one day after his 32nd birthday. Levi filled every year with energy, talent, and love; His journey shines.
As a child he mastered monkey bars and flips from swings, and by his teens he tackled parkour with fearless spirit. He played soccer from age four, starred on traveling teams, lettered at Bret Harte High School, and in his senior year became the varsity football team’s field-goal kicker and full-time punter. Away from the field, he painted, crafted, and strummed the guitar with natural ease.
Levi yearned to travel and love for adventure took him far from home. In 2004 he and brother Eason joined parents Lynn and Mason on a three-week tour of the United Kingdom, exploring Stonehenge, the Scottish Highlands, and countless castles featured in favorite films. Those miles sparked a yearning to travel he gladly shared with family and friends.
Determined and confident, Levi co-founded Aperture Window Cleaners in 2018 and guided the venture until 2022. He went on to earn a Class 1 license for large trucks and heavy equipment, experience that opened the door to his role as a WaterWorks Technician at the South Lake Tahoe Public Utility District in 2024. Every workplace benefited from his creativity, loyalty, and hands-on skill.
Nothing meant more to Levi than the birth of his son Greyson on March 15th, 2020, with his partner Kim Harding. From day one he poured his time and heart into raising Greyson, celebrating each new step and spark of curiosity. Fatherhood brought out his deepest kindness and joy.
Friends remember Levi’s ready invitation to try something new, whether it was a backyard soccer drill or a fresh art project, a solid corner kick or a woodwork project he made for Kim came out just right. His blend of kindness, creativity, and determination encouraged others to stretch a little further and laugh a little louder. That spirit remains a guiding light.
Levi’s life is honored by Kim, Greyson, Lynn, Mason, and Eason, who will keep his stories alive around every table and trail. They find comfort recalling his pride after a solid corner kick or a woodwork project he made for Kim came out just right. His legacy is one of adventure shared and love given freely.
We close not in sadness but in gratitude for the vibrant years we enjoyed with him. Whenever we pick up a paintbrush, lace up cleats, or plan a journey, we celebrate Levi’s beautiful life.
