Lewis Allen Summers' Obituary
SUMMERS, Lewis Allen Age 84 of Nashville passed away on Tuesday, February 22nd. He was born on October 8, 1926 in Portland, TN. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie O'Steen Summers, and wife, Wilma A. Summers. He is survived by his son, James (Carolyn) Summers; grandchildren, Teresa (David) Reynolds and David (Kam) Summers; great grandchildren, Abigail, Cooper, and Cade Reynolds, and Addy Grace Summers; and sister, Ruby Milliken.He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII serving aboard the USS Burke and of the Korean War serving aboard the USS Calvert. He was a long time employee of Neuhoff Packing Company and retired from Roadway Express as an over-the-road driver known by the handle "Summertime". He was a member of Jackson Park Church of Christ. David Summers, David Reynolds, Royce Summers, Jackie Milliken, Barry Rawls, and Paul Rhoton will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday, February 25th from 4-8PM and Saturday, February 26th from 12 Noon till service time at 2PM with Bro.
