Ms. Lila Beth Cartwright's Obituary
Lila Beth Cartwright, age 90, passed away on July 14, 2014. Ms. Cartwright was born on February 3, 1924, to the late James and Mabel Reed. She was a member of Neely’s Bend Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cartwright was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward E. Cartwright; sister, Patricia Reed; brother, James Reed; and son, William E. Cartwright.
Ms. Cartwright is survived by her daughter-in-law, Juanita Cartwright of Springfield, TN; sons, Robert (Brenda) Cartwright of Union City, TN, and James (Janice) Cartwright of White House, TN; daughter Rose Najar of Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 9am until 11:30am. A Celebration of Life service in honor of Ms. Cartwright will follow at 12pm, from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, with Pastor Renee Franklin officiating, and Pastor Jefferson Furtado assisting. Interment will follow in the Thomas B. Craighead section of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, with Bill Cartwright, Ben Cartwright, Tab Ross, Jeff Crabtree, Trent Hankins, and Chad Cartwright serving as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Neely's Bend United Methodist Church.
