Ms. Linda Kay Brown, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many, passed away in Nashville on April 15th, 2024. Born on March 3rd, 1957, she was the cherished daughter of William Swift, Jr., and Catherine Mae Stewart.
Linda was a beacon of kindness and compassion. Her heart overflowed with love for her family, and she selflessly extended her hand to those in need. Whether it was a comforting word, a warm meal, or a helping hand, Linda was there. Her unwavering commitment to others left an indelible mark on our community.
Beyond her acts of kindness, Linda found solace in the written word. She was an avid poet, weaving emotions into verses that danced across the pages. Her poems captured the beauty of life, love, and the human experience.
Each morning, Linda would open her Bible app on her phone, seeking solace and guidance from the sacred verses. Her faith was unwavering, and she found strength in her daily readings.
In quieter moments, Linda enjoyed playing Solitaire, the Loteria, and Toma Todo. These simple games brought her joy and allowed her to connect with friends and family.
Linda Kay Brown’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever reside in our hearts.
In addition to her parents William and Catherine, Linda is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Holland, granddaughter Marisela Rodriguez, and fur baby Romeo. Left to cherish her memory are her children Rosetta Sanchez (Fidel), Paula Lopez (Benito), and Jeremy Brown (Natalie); grandchildren Jose, Maria, Mikel, Gloria, Christian, Julian, Joelton, Lincoln, and Hailey; great-grandchildren Axel, Allison, Milagro, Nalani, Cellia, Baby Pickle, Dalton, Christian Jr., Seric, Liam, and Madalynn; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 from 12:00 in the afternoon until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 in the afternoon at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. All are welcome.
Final arrangements for Ms. Brown are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
