Linda Lou (Roy) Dupre, age 79, of Brentwood, TN, formerly of Hendersonville, TN, went to her eternal heavenly home on February 12, 2021. Linda was born on November 25, 1941 in Liberty, TN to the late Alpha (Ace) and Gladys Roy. She was a loving and loyal wife, mother and grandmother who was full of energy and enthusiasm and always had a passion for giving to others. Linda was an avid sports fan of Vanderbilt baseball and the Tennessee Titans, but she was the biggest fan when it came to her grandkids. She never missed a game, recital or any other important event in their lives. She loved her work in grant development at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center where she retired after 40 years. Linda was a two-time breast cancer survivor. She fought her battles with bravery and grace and was a beacon of hope for so many others. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Fay Roy, and her sister and brother in law, Peggy and Mitch Birdwell. Linda is survived by her loving husband Dave Dupre, sons Brett Maggart, Brian Maggart (Angela), and daughter Beth Martin (Jeremy), Ben Dupre (Larisa), and Phil Dupre. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Hailey Brewer (Jeff), Jon Wesley Swindle, Alaina Maggart, Sawyer Swindle, Addison Swindle, Davi Dupre, Jonah Dupre, Katie Martin, Leighanna Martin, and Brinson Martin; three great grandchildren, Levi Brewer, Allie Brewer and Emma Katherine Brewer, and many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.
