Linda Darnell Kirkpatrick's Obituary
Linda Kirkpatrick (Houdeshell) was born March 7, 1945 in Nashville, TN. She was raised in Madison, TN where she attended Madison First Baptist Church. She also attended Stratton Elementary and Madison High School.
Along with her parents, Ewing Houdeshell and Billie Fivash, she was preceded in death by sister, Diane Castleman.
Linda is survived by husband of 64 years, James Kirkpatrick; sons, Hugh (Kimberly) and Tommy (Allison) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Riley (Grant) Graves, Chelsea (Tyler) Jones, Hughston (Abby) Kirkpatrick, Jackson Kirkpatrick and Katie Kirkpatrick; great-grandchildren, Libby Graves and Sam Graves; brother, Leighton Houdeshell; sister, Carolyn (James) Neal; nieces Lynn (Larry) Boone, Kim (Dave) Guyer.
Linda loved people. She was outgoing and very involved in her son’s lives. She was a light to anyone that met her.
Linda believed in helping others and seeing the best in people. She looked at the world through innocent eyes like that of a child. She was always happy, funny and helpful.
She was a true angelic spirit.
