Mrs. Linda Martinez's Obituary
Linda Darnell Martinez, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Linda was born on June 18, 1956 in Nashville, Tennessee. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Brown, Jr. and Jewell Hazel (Shrum) Brown.
Linda always kept a positive attitude despite the odds that were presented against her. She never gave up and would not quit at any task that she set out to accomplish. She lived her life to the fullest. Linda had a great love for all her family and cherished greatly the life that she had been blessed with.
Linda is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Mitch Martinez; two daughters, Katrina Nevels and LaKisha Davenport; two sons, Ricky Davenport (Tisha Dowell) and Robert Davenport; step-children, Angela Tepper and Mitchell Martinez; four sisters, Patricia (Ray) Covington, Anita Wilson, Mary Capley and Theresa (Bud) Miller; grandchildren, Shanna (Frank) Robich, DaShawn Davenport, Ciara Joyce, Ciarius Joyce and John Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Amina, Bella Davenport, Ricky Davenport, Jr. and Daylan Etchison. Linda is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 1-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 11am until the time of service beginning at 12 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Duke officiating. Interment will follow in the Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Robert Davenport, DaShawn Davenport, Ciarius Joyce, Jon Pennington, Dylan Huggins, Phillip Harrington, Sammy Harrington and Jamie Winters.
