Mrs. Linda Faye Tobitt's Obituary
Linda Faye Tobitt, 72, of Cottontown, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021. Born April 21, 1949 in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Herschel Blaylock and Helen Marie Craft Blaylock.
Linda was feisty and funny and always managed to leave you smiling. She was a longtime crossing guard at East High School, and a retired hair stylist. When she was able to, she enjoyed attending church at Faith Is Victory Church and Cornerstone Church in Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Tobitt Smith; sister Caroline Minchey.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Danny Ray Tobitt; son Randy (Misty) Tobitt; brother Billy (Vicky) Blaylock; grandchildren Kennedy Smith, Dillon Tomlin, Dustin Tobitt, Kyndal Tobitt, and Brennan (Celeste) Daniels.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 3 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Service conducted by Dr. Kevin Shrum will take place 12 PM noon Friday, June 4, at the funeral home with family receiving friends and visitors 2 hours prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Masks are required inside of the funeral home for anyone who has not been vaccinated.
