Mr. Lionel Owen's Obituary
Lionel Owen, 91, of Nashville passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016. He was born on May 25, 1925 to the late Floyd and Nellie Owen. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Ruth Mangrum Owen.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Owen; one sister, Tanya Ezell (Jeff, and their daughter, Erica Coots); and many other nieces and nephews.
Mr. Owen was a World War II veteran and graduated Vanderbilt University. He then began as Test Development Tech and many other positions with Employment Security. He ended his career as a telecommunications manager.
A Celebration of life service will be held 2pm Thursday, June 16 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday and again 12-2pm prior to the service.
