Mrs. Lisa Rankhorn Jones' Obituary
Lisa Darlene Rankhorn Jones, 51, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at her residence in Nashville. The Davidson County native was the daughter of Joyce Choate Rankhorn of Nashville and the late Nelson Rankhorn. She was a former waitress on the General Jackson Showboat at Opryland and was of the Baptist faith. Lisa enjoyed the outdoors, watching Criminal Minds on television, was a cat lover, and enjoyed her grandson. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James H. Jones of Nashville; a daughter, Amanda Higgins of Nashville; a step son, Adam Kelton Jones of Nashville; three sisters, Deborah (Randy) Knight of Murfreesboro, Chris (Michael) Smith of Hendersonville, and Hope Bugg of Pegram; a grandson, Quinton James Randolph of Nashville; several nices and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Rankhorn. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 2:00PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
