Lloyd W. Baker's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Lloyd Baker, 73, of Ashland City, TN. Lloyd is preceded in death by his love, Sherry Warren; mother, Catherine Owen Baker; and father, Arthur Baker; one sister, Mary Moran; one brother, Ronald E. Baker; and three brothers-in-law, Johnny, Jimmy, and Charles.
Lloyd was a man of his word, and very profound in his faith. He would give you the shirt off his back, but greater than that, he would cover you in prayer. His love for God was so prominent in his daily life, singing praises through gospel music and attending Good Shepherd Nashville.
He was a true family man, he loved to play jokes, especially on his nieces and nephews. In his down time, you could find him playing a game of solitaire or solving a word search puzzle. He worked for many years as a mechanic which further developed his love for building model cars and helping Ronnie on his race car.
Those left to cherish Lloyd's memory are sisters, Christine Davis, Joyce Hall, Pamela Baker, Theressa Gregory (Mike), and Judy Stewart (Jerry); one son, Jeffrey Baker; two grandchildren, Christopher and Neveah; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; as well as great nieces and nephews; and his four legged companion, Bart Baker.
The gentlemen serving as pallbearers are Brad Baker, Ronald Baker Jr., Kevin Wilcher, Joey Yearta, Michael Climer, and David Hunter.
