Mrs. Lois Gaynell Clark's Obituary
Lois Gaynell Nix Clark, age 82, passed away January 4, 2015. She was born on September 13, 1932 in Mill Springs, North Carolina to the late Homer and Geraldine Nix. Preceded in death by parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband of 60 ½ years, Ronald E. Clark; sons Michael E. Clark (Juanita) and Brian C. Clark (Michelle); grandchildren Brent, Rachel, Eric, Braden, Owen, and Abigayle; great-grandchildren Maddie, McKenzie, and Cash; three sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Clark worked at Bell South for 38 years and retired in 1994. She loved to travel and gardening. She was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her loving, gentle spirit will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015, 2:00 pm in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ryan officiating. Serving as active pallbearers will be Brent Clark, Eric Clark, Braden Clark, Owen Clark, Carl Meadows, and Dick Murray. Herbert E. White will be an honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216, 615-865-1101, www.springhillfh.com.
