Mrs. Lorraine Robinson Douglas' Obituary
Lorraine Robinson Douglas, age 85, of Nashville, passed away on February 8, 2014. Mrs. Douglas was born on April 16, 1928 to the late Lofton Robinson and Carrie Brown Robinson. Mrs. Douglas was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and her late husband, Paul Douglas, owned and operated Service Plumbing and Lorraine’s Antiques. Mrs. Douglas was an avid artist gardener, bowler, and golfer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Douglas; and son, Ronny Douglas. She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Stan) Justus, of Soddy Daisy; Steve (Debbie) Douglas, of Nashville; daughter-in-law, Barbara Douglas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pastor Paul Johnson shall lead a Celebration of Life ceremony in honor of Mrs. Douglas on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11AM, from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Entombment shall follow in the Serenity Chapel Mausoleum in historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 10, 2014, from 4PM to 8PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203 or to the animal rescue charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
