Louis Paul Augustin's Obituary
Louis Augustin, 91, of Madison, Tennessee, graduated to Heaven on May 23, 2024. He was born April 22, 1933, in Loretto, Tennessee, to the late Joseph Augustin and Louelle Brown Augustin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his late wife, Barbara June; two brothers; and nine sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; son, Terry (Cyndi) Augustin; daughter, Kathy (Jamie) Russell, grandchildren, Brooke Augustin, Timothy Russell, and Amanda (Ryan) Woodruff; great-grandchild, Amelia June Woodruff; brother, Benjamin (Martha) Augustin; stepchildren, Hilton Price and Heather Price.
Louis grew up on the farm during the Great Depression. He would eventually join the Army for two years. Once his time was done in the Army, he became a mechanic and would continue to do this for many years. He is one of the founders of the Community Garage in Madison. With his mechanical skills, he was known to fix anything placed in front of him. He was a member of Metro Baptist Church for 40 years. His many hobbies include mowing yards, gardening, and woodworking. He found a love for the game of Rook, and this would become the game that everyone in the family would come together to play whenever they could. Out of everything in his life though, family was the most important thing to him. He would make the time to go to every game that his grandchildren were playing. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
