Mrs. Louise Hughes' Obituary
Louise Hughes, age 90, of Nashville, TN peacefully went to be with the Lord of her life, on Monday, November 16, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Roy L. and Ina Hester (Massey) Ray of Elmwood, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Ellis Hughes, son of the late Vernon and Virgie Hughes of Springfield, TN.
Louise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Hughes and Gil Dyer; granddaughter, Jenny Dyer; sister, Opal Ray Fields; and sister’s-in-law, Lorelle McGhee and Sara Jane Doss. This is along with many nieces and nephews, plus her extended church family of Broadmoor Church of God.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 19th, 5 - 8 p.m., and Friday November 20th, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. with a celebration of life funeral service immediately following at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Rucker Chunn and Pastor Lonnie Gable. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Nashville Rescue Mission, 639 Lafayette St., Nashville, TN 37203.
