We celebrate the beautiful life she shared with her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Her story shines with loyalty, resilience, determination, humility, and compassion.
Born in Arequipa, Peru, Lourdes navigated a difficult childhood without her parents, Juana Garcia and Humberto Meza, yet she grew into a vibrant, intelligent, and humorous woman. The challenges of those early years only strengthened her spirit, and that same spirit guided every chapter that followed.
She was a woman who defied the odds. Facing life’s immense challenges, she refused to back down. A natural and relentless entrepreneur, she started many businesses from the ground up in Peru to provide for her family.
A couple of years after arriving in the United States with her 6-year-old daughter, Evelyn, she met Ralph Baiz, with whom she shared a beautiful and vibrant chapters of life. Together they built a family, and over the years remained dear friends, united by their enduring love and devotion to their daughters. After years of hard work in various positions, Lourdes returned to her entrepreneurial roots and founded Meza Multiservices. For more than 35 years, the business became her ministry to the Latin community. Far more than a business owner, she was a trusted counselor, listener, and advisor. She led her business with fierceness, integrity, and an unwavering desire to help others.
Lourdes was a matriarch who “jumped generations,” constantly pushing her own limits to break cycles, grow as a person, and build a better future for those she loved. She poured everything she had into her daughters, Evelyn and Jaclyn, who were her greatest pride and joy. She never missed an opportunity to speak of them with love and admiration. Her grandchildren, Catita and Leonardo, brought her endless happiness, and even in her final days, she was filled with excitement and anticipation as she awaited the arrival of her newest grandbaby.
Her faith brought her comfort throughout her life and grew even stronger in her final years. Prayer and service were daily expressions of her humble heart.
Lourdes remained deeply connected to her siblings and extended family—Anita, Edith, Augusto, Isabel, Elard, and Maria—always offering support, and understanding. Her warmth as a mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and mentor touched countless lives and will be deeply missed.
Although we say goodbye to Lourdes in Nashville, Tennessee, where she passed, her love, strength, and unwavering generosity remain with us. May every note of music, every shared meal, and every act of kindness remind us of the remarkable woman she was. Her legacy lives on in the family she built, the community she served, and the countless lives she changed. We celebrate her life with profound gratitude and will honor her by carrying forward the compassion, resilience, and love she gave so freely.

Un par de años después de llegar a Estados Unidos con su hija de 6 años, Evelyn, conoció a Ralph Baiz, con quien compartió capítulos de vida hermosos y vibrantes. Juntos construyeron una familia y, con el paso de los años, siguieron siendo queridos amigos, unidos por su amor duradero y devoción por sus hijas. Después de años de trabajo duro en varios puestos, Lourdes volvió a sus raíces emprendedoras y fundó Meza Multiservices. Durante más de 35 años, el negocio se convirtió en su ministerio para la comunidad latina. Mucho más que una dueña de negocio, ella era una consejera confiable, oyente y asesora. Dirigía su negocio con valentía, integridad y un deseo inquebrantable de ayudar a los demás.
Lourdes era una matriarca que “saltaba generaciones”, siempre superando sus propios límites para romper ciclos, crecer como persona y construir un mejor futuro para quienes amaba. Lo daba todo por sus hijas, Evelyn y Jaclyn, quienes eran su mayor orgullo y alegría. Nunca perdía la oportunidad de hablar de ellas con amor y admiración. Sus nietos, Catita y Leonardo, le traían una felicidad infinita, y incluso en sus últimos días, estaba llena de emoción y expectación esperando la llegada de su nuevo nieto.
Su fe le brindó consuelo a lo largo de toda su vida y se fortaleció aún más en sus últimos años. La oración y el servicio eran expresiones diarias de su humilde corazón.

Aunque nos despedimos de Lourdes en Nashville, Tennessee, donde falleció, su amor, fortaleza y generosidad inquebrantable permanecen con nosotros. Que cada nota de música, cada comida compartida y cada acto de bondad nos recuerde a la mujer extraordinaria que fue. Su legado sigue vivo en la familia que formó, la comunidad a la que sirvió y las innumerables vidas que cambió.
