Ms. Lucile Marie Kennedy-Lynn's Obituary
Lucile Marie Kennedy-Lynn, age 80, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at home surrounded by her loved ones and her faithful dog Duchess.
Lou, "Lou-Babe", Nana, Neno, Aunt Lou; was born in Portsmouth, Ohio. She grew up on the Ohio River and her father and brothers worked on the riverboats. She was the youngest daughter of Marshall and Ellen (Redden) Kennedy's seven children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters - Dollie, Carrie, Flossie, baby sister Thelma, and her beloved grandson Denny. She is survived by her three children; Charlotte (Bo) Robinson, Charles Webb Jr., and Christy (Bill) Hoskinson.
Eight grandchildren, Shane, Ashley, Angellena, Billy, twins - Jesse and Josef, Christiana, and Christopher. Her two older brothers, Carl Kennedy and Stanley Kennedy, and half-brother and sister, twins, Annie and Ronnie.
Lou was an avid animal lover and rescuer. She loved country music, Christmas, and Elvis. She was blessed with genuine lifelong friends. Lou was a successful business woman and known as a real "go-getter". She was a cartoon-watching, Mickey Mouse T-shirt wearing fun Nana, that would just as quick get out the fly swatter if you misbehaved. She was beautiful inside and out, had a carefree laugh and a sparkle in her eye. She is dearly loved by many. Most importantly, she believed in her Saviour, Jesus and life everlasting.
Visitation for Lou will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from Noon until 4 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tn, 37216.
