Mrs. Lucy Connie Norris' Obituary
Lucy Connie (Mangrum) Norris, age 66, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Lucy was born to John and Mildred (Poppy) Wright Mangrum on October 29, 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lucy was a loving wife and mother who took great pride in raising her family and giving homemade gifts from her kitchen to her family and friends.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Norris; daughters, Angela (Jeremy) Crawford, Betty (Dickie) Faulk, and Connie Norris. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Jason, Dana, Brandon, and Courtney; and 7 great-grandchildren Hunter, Caleb, Arianna, Ashton, Austin, Mya, and Callie. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Edith Cook, Paulette Norris, Johnny (Wanda) Mangrum, Jimmy Joe Mangrum, Andy (Montie) Mangrum, and Ruby (Timmy) Fults.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 and Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 10am-8pm and also on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 10am-1pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
