It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Luis Alberto Alarcon Tamariz on June 29th, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Luis, affectionately known as “Beto,” was born on March 10th, 1981, in Veracruz, Mexico to Victor Alarcon Gomez and Emma Tamariz Tolentino. He immigrated to the United States in 2007 and lived in New York for quite some time before establishing himself in Tennessee. He met his beloved wife Liz in 2010, and they wed on February 6th, 2017. He was an outgoing and gentle soul who adored his family and friends. He was a jack of all trades who dedicated himself wholly to any project he put his mind to. He thoroughly enjoyed repairing and creating a beautiful home for his family. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his beloved fur babies. He enjoyed listening to country music, especially the discography of George Strait and Carrie Underwood. His kindness and joy will be missed, and his legacy will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Beto is preceded in death by his mother Emma and stepson Trevor Evans. He is survived by his love Elizabeth Sherlain Alarcon; sons Jose Maria Alarcon Guzman and Mario Alberto Alarcon Guzman; stepson Joshua Hollis; daughter Maria Fernanda Garcia Cerallos; stepdaughter Sarah Weaver; eleven brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews; fur babies Mona, Cooper, Lucas, Jacob, Max, Beto, and Junior; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family cordially invites guests and relatives to join them for a time of visitation on Tuesday, July 11th, 2023, at Spring Hill Funeral Home, from four o’clock in the evening until seven o’clock in the evening, with a rosary service to follow at seven o’clock in the evening. A brief time of visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, from ten o’clock in the morning until twelve o’clock in the afternoon, with a chapel funeral service at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, and burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Family members and guests who plan to join us at Greenwood Cemetery will be escorted in a cortege at the conclusion of the chapel service.
