Lynn Edward Hunt's Obituary
HUNT, Lynn Edward; age 74 of Brentwood, TN passed away June 16, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born July 17, 1935 to the late Floyd and Ola Hunt. Mr. Hunt was retired, after 47 years of service, from Third National Bank/SunTrust where he was Sr. Vice President. He was a member of North Edgefield Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He had many hobbies including: Archery, Fishing and Bowling, but was most proud of his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Claudia Sutton Hunt; children, Terri (David) Doheny, Kim (Maurice) Ladd, Leslie (Bill) Chaffin, Keith (Deanna) Hunt; brothers Bobby (Doris) Ruskin, Gary (Pat) Ruskin; sister-in-law, Kathy Ruskin; grandchildren, Seth, and Aaron Doheny, Travis and Nathan Ladd, Megan, Jennifer and Emily Chaffin, Brennen Hunt, and Jessica Valley; great-grandchild, Lennon Wakeford; beloved companion animals, Poppy, Angel, Patches, and Maggie Mai. Mr. Hunt was predeceased by his father, Louis Ruskin, a brother Don Ruskin, and sister Nadine as well as Ivory, his Pekingese. Funeral services will be on Saturday June 19, 2010 at 10AM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Schultz officiating. Interment will follow services in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, where military honors will be presented. Pallbearers will be, David Doheny, Bill Chaffin, Keith Hunt, Travis Ladd, Seth Doheny, and Aaron Doheny. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7PM at Spring Hill. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to American Lung Association, Nashville Rescue Mission or Alive Hospice.
