Magalene Willard's Obituary
Magalene Willard, 79, of East Nashville, Tennessee, born in Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Willard, a daughter, Connie Jones, a son, Michael Shoemake, a son-in-law, Calvin Davis, Jr., fifteen siblings, and her parents, Tommy and Bessie Woodard.
She is survived by her five daughters, Audrey Davis, Teresa (David) Lain, Pamela (David) Cole, Tammy (Jim) Finefrock, and Lori (Jackie) Woods, twelve grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She loved listening to country music, specifically Conway Twitty. She enjoyed working in the hospitality industry as a hostess and waitress interacting with the celebrities around Nashville. She loved her Beehive Do that needed to be three feet high, but that took second place to her family.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 13 from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville.
At the request of the family, memorial contributions can be made to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery to help with the funeral expenses. The donor may call in or come by the funeral home with a check, credit/debit card or money order.
