Miss MaKayla Lynn Brown's Obituary
MaKayla Lynn
Born at 9:54am on May 26, 2011. Weighing 7lbs. Even and 171/2 inches long, this beautiful baby girl had the most chunkiest cheeks you had ever seen in a newborn. This bald headed bundle of joy brought so much joy to everyone that day and everyday after. This little girl had us wrapped her pretty little fingers watching her grow and learn new things is something we will cherish with every waking moment. This Angel was not only going to be cheerleader, she was going to be cheer CAPTAIN!! Now, she is our Angel, cheering us on from the Heavens above. She grew up to be the most beautiful, sassy, spunky, loving, caring little Diva of a 5 year old. She loved everyone and you never saw that baby with out the biggest smile on her face. She was always singing and dancing around saying she was a "Princess Ballerina."
On December 14, 2016, tragedy struck and a mothers worst nightmare came true. Our beautiful little princess was involved in a terrible automobile accident with her 2 year old brother Jordan and her uncle. Unfortunately, two days later at 9:54am she passed away from injuries to her brain. She fought and fought until she couldn't fight anymore. It was too much for her little body to handle. Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we are embracing the fact that our daughter will live on!! On December 16, 2016, after being declared, we made the selfless decision to donate her organs to other children and even though we lost our baby, we gave other families the Miracle of having their child back for Christmas. MaKayla was such a giving person and every child she met was her best friend. She was able to save 3 children's lives on December 18, 2016. Leaving the hospital without her, was by far the hardest thing we have ever had to do. But our baby girl is a HERO!! Someday we will get to meet these precious children and give them the biggest hugs knowing MaKayla lives on inside of them. We didn't want to write an ordinary obituary because we are not saying goodbye, we are saying see you later. We want people to know what a perfect little Angel she was and still is. MaKayla baby, Mommy and Daddy love you so very much and want you to know you are our Hero as well as the hero to 3 other children. You will live on in them as well as in our hearts forever. We won't say in "Memory Of" because in our hearts, you are not gone. You have just simply passed into the bodies of other kids. We don't get to physically see you anymore but you are without a doubt, living on!! So instead we are calling this a Celebration of Life. I will close this by saying, there are many children and adults who are relying on organ donation to live. Would you want to save lives if you had a chance to? Choose to be an organ donor so you can have that honor in the event tragedy strikes your way. No one thinks this could happen to them, we didn't either. But this just goes to show you that it can!
MaKayla, we love you so much and don't know how to live life without you. But together, your daddy and I along with your brothers and sisters, will do the best we can. We find comfort in the fact that pieces of you will live on here on earth and we will be reunited with them someday. And don't you worry your pretty little head about your radio that your brothers and sister kept trying to take from you, we've got it placed in our room where it will stay until the day I can bring it home to you in Heaven.
Give Nana and your PawPaw loves from me and watch over us all. Again, this is not goodbye, it's simply just a "see you later."
Love, Mommy and Daddy
