Mr. Marcus Donald "Don" Meeks' Obituary
Marcus Donald “Don” Meeks, 76, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Springfield, Tennessee. Born December 19, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Ellis Charles Meeks and Clara Burtice Dubree Meeks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Ronald Francis, Gary David, and Clara Loretta.
Don’s most proud achievements were having read the bible in its entirety 21 times over 21 years and having bowled a perfect game once. His niece, Rebecca Mahaffey, was by his side reading from Psalms, in his final hours. He passed peacefully. He will be laid to rest alongside his parents in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 8. Anyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at Spring Hill Funeral Home at 10:30 am Wednesday morning.
