Mrs. Margaret Alderman's Obituary
Margaret Lee Alderman, age 87, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019. She was born December 31, 1931 in Liberty, Tennessee to Chester Brown Scott and Minnie Elizabeth (Parkerson) Scott both whom preceded her in death. Margaret is survived by her daughters Karen Tomlin (Ben) and Sandy Burton (Ernie), two grandchildren Candyce Alexandria Manier (Bret) and Evan Dakota Tomlin, two great-grandchildren Cason Cole Manier and Maddox Nash Manier. She is also survived by her sister Teresa McCormack and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years James Thomas Alderman, her brother Wm (Fred) Scott and her sister Roberta Jean Dreher. Margaret was a woman who was full of life and ready for any adventure her family had planned, she was always ready to go at a moment’s notice. She absolutely loved wearing and collecting hats she was known as the hat lady to her friends and family. Margaret loved to bowl in her younger years and loved spending time at the beach. She was a member of the Dalewood Baptist Church here in Nashville for many years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend and was an excellent role model for all of her family.
Visitation will be from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday and 1 PM to 2 PM Thursday at the Spring Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 PM at the funeral home.
