Mrs. Margaret McNutt Cooley's Obituary
Margaret (McNutt) Cooley, age 78, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019. Margaret was born to Clay and Dorothea (Dwyer) McNutt on October 17, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Margaret is a proud graduate of Issac Litton High School in Nashville. She also earned her Associates degree at Martin College.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; and brother John McNutt. She is survived by her loving husband John L. Cooley; daughters Laura (Lewis) Oliveros and Charlene Smith. In addition, she is survived by her 5 grandchildren; Chaz Smith, Blake Smith, Kendall Smith, Luke Oliveros, and Layla Oliveros; and sister Lois (Ed) Phelps.
Pallbearers will be Chaz Smith, Blake Smith, Luke Oliveros, Lewis Oliveros, John Mack Keller, and Brock Keller.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 4-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2pm with visitation beginning 1 hour prior to service time. Entombment will follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225, N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
