Mrs. Margaret Avo Cox's Obituary
Margaret Avo Cox, age 87 of Old Hickory passed away July 30, 2014. Mrs. Cox was born on January 6, 1927 in Plant City, FL to the late Winfred and Anna Lou Stockton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Cox, Jr.; daughter, Lisa West; 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, David Cox, Tommy (Margaret) Cox, Leonard (Beverly) Cox, Suzanne Haneline, Sandy Knight and Freda Jones; brother, Jimmy Stockton; sister, Anna Bridges; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, August 4th at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Louis Harp officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, August 3rd from 4-8 P.M. and on Monday from 11 A.M. until service time.
