Kathy Vaughn
My sweet, funny spunky grandma always trusted me, Kathy to cut her hair. And although each time I was always nervous, she wouldn’t like it, she always loved it. And she always let me clean her house. grandma wouldn’t let you do anything for nothing. She always insisted on paying whomever for their time for doing anything for her. I enjoyed my time working with her laundry attendant. she was such a strong, independent woman, and she had the best worth ethics.I’m very thankful that she was my Grandma. She taught me how to carry myself as a woman and a lady.To always get up and be ready and show up. She was always feisty and spoke her mind and expressed her opinion. I loved how authentic she embraced of being her 100% self. She loved and cherished her family so much with even indifferences each and everyone unique personality. She still has so much love to show us. All three of our mother Elizabeth’s daughters, shanna and me,Kathy and Sarah she helped raise us and we never did without necessities thanks to her. She showed up and showed out for us ladies as our Grandma for all of three her granddaughters. I loved our relationship and how we would stay on the phone for hours just laughing with her music playing in the background. She was so full of character and so fun to be around. And her laughter was contagious. And she cherished and loved her animals they truly were her babies.
