Mrs. Margaret Hill's Obituary
Margaret Marie (Reed) Hill, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at The Waters of Robertson in Springfield, TN. Margaret was born on February 20, 1929 in Ohio to Reverend William Patrick and Leora (Tucker) Reed.
She had a great love for her family and enjoyed spending time and cooking for them. She enjoyed using her hands to sew. Mrs. Hill was a minister’s wife and she had a great love for the members of the church. Reverend and Mrs. Hill served faithfully in several locations, most recent being, The Church of God of Prophecy in Old Hickory, Tennessee. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Ridgetop, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Harms Hubert Hill; sisters, Louise Kyle, Leona Clay, and Ruth Trogdon.
Mrs. Hill is survived by daughter, Vivian Boyd and husband, John; two grandchildren, Nick Boyd and wife, Tiffany, Tiffany West and husband, Alex; one great grandchild, Easton Harms Boyd. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Rye and Pastor Yvonne Trammell officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Nick Boyd, Alex West, Tyler Wood, Roy Dill, Troy Dill, Brooks Rauschenberger, and John Boyd.
