Mrs. Margaret L. Lyng's Obituary
Margaret L. Lyng, age 88, of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Gallatin, Tennessee. Margaret was born on September 1, 1930 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Erd Conley and Zona Risner
Margaret was a member of Neely’s Bend Baptist Church and a volunteer at Skyline Medical Center.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Lyng in 2007, a sister Mildred Conley and a brother Sammy Green Conley.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Peggy) Lyng and Greg (Tammy) Lyng; grandchild Cody (Fayth) Lyng; sister-in-law Helen Conley; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 31, 4 PM to 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Friday at 12 PM at the funeral home with family receiving friends and visitors from 10 AM until 12 PM. Pallbearers will be Cody Lyng, Jackie Broadrick, Mark Bates, Chris Farris, Ray Farris, Maurice Farmer, Danny Heicher, and Gary Tharp. Burial will follow in the historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Neely's Bend Baptist Church Elevator Fund 1345 Neely's Bend Road, Madison TN 37115 Attn: Brother Donoho.
