Mrs. Margaret Pauline Montgomery's Obituary
Margaret Pauline Honeycutt Montgomery, age 96 of Nashville, TN passed away December 4, 2013. Mrs. Montgomery was born in Nashville, TN on May 14, 1917 to Samuel and Nannie Katherine Honeycutt.
She was a graduate of East High School and a long-time member of Lockeland Baptist Church. She worked for Bell South for 46 years prior to her retirement in 1981 and was a long-standing member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She will be remembered by her family, friends and co-workers for her sweet, kind, spirit and her gracious attitude towards anyone in need. She enjoyed traveling and had visited every state in the Union and also took trips to Canada and Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband, William B. Montgomery. She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Mrs. Montgomery’s life will be conducted at 11 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 8 PM, Friday, December 6 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
