Margaret “Mitzi” Rose Tanksley-Bond, 63, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on March 10, 2023
Once again, we face the inevitable that is waiting for us all. It does not wait for us, it just happens. Mitzi was a person who welcomed everybody warmhearted, always. She will forever be loved. Life is so fragile, and time has a mind of its own.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hershel Bond, father, Roy Tanksley, Sr., brother, Andrew Clarke Tanksley, grandparents, Gordon and Novella Tanksley and William Hooper and Mary Rice.
She is survived by her mother, Dixie Tanksley, a brother, Roy Tanksley, Jr., an aunt, Jane Tanksley, two uncles, Chris Christiansen and Gordan Tanksley, a stepdaughter, Tammy Bond Brodie, a grandson, Brandan Brodie, a granddaughter, Jessica Brodie, four great-grandchildren, and several cousins, Vickie Pelfrey, Jimmy Rice, Cindy Christiansen Ellis and Johnny Christiansen.
Mitzi was a talented artist. She hungered for challenges whether it was painting with the Chestnut Group or things that she saw that drew her in. She worked a time for the Tanksley Transfer (Specialized Carrier). She was an adventurous person. She spent time studying at Volunteer State College. She was exceptionally interested in learning.
