Mrs. Margaret Virginia Cole Carter's Obituary
Margaret Virginia Cole Carter, age 91, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Carter, Sr.; parents, James Luther and Emma Jones Cole; brothers, James L. Cole, Jr., Harley N. Cole, Marion C. Cole, Willard J. Cole, and step-daughter, Elizabeth Carter Halpain.
She is survived by her stepson, Thomas L. Carter, Jr. of Stuttgart, Germany; beloved niece, Kathryn Cole and her extended family in Hendersonville and her other nieces and nephews.
She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ.
A Celebration of Life Service to honor Mrs. Carter will be conducted from the graveside at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, at Spring Hill Cemetery with A. M. Burton officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort.
