MCDONALD, Marian Dean Ashley - Of Nashville, TN. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Mimi, and Nana. Passed away peacefully on August 3, 2012 at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her husband David Lee McDonald. Survived by one son, Glenn McDonald; four daughters, Kathy Mott, Marcia Shuffett, Debbie (Larry) East, and Janice McDonald; 6 grandchildren, Meredith (Dontay) Turner, Christy and Jesse East, Michael Mott and Ashley (Jason) Millman, and Elizabeth Shuffett; and 3 great-grandsons, Trey McDonald, Roman Hight, and Brayden Richardson. Marian was a homemaker and community volunteer, a long-time resident of the Inglewood community and member of Inglewood Methodist Church. She was known affectionately as "Mom" to many children in the Inglewood area. Deepest gratitude to Dr. John R. Gibson, his staff and to Baptist Hospital. Special thanks to caregivers Angelia and Grace. Visitation for Mrs. McDonald will be Sunday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., with a celebration of her life on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY.
